Get ready - history is about to be made! The very first Rib Cook-Off Association competition is firing up in New Zealand, and we’re calling on the boldest, sauciest, most fall-off-the-bone obsessed cooks to throw down.

Whether your ribs are sweet and sticky, dry-rubbed to perfection, or dripping in smokey goodness - we want to taste what makes your rack the best in the land.

Bragging rights, BBQ glory, and the chance to be crowned the best rib cook in New Zealand are up for grabs. So don’t just stand there - grab your tongs, fire up the pit, and show us what you've got!

Are you ready to rib, or will you chicken out?


  • Ribs must be supplied by each cook

  • Ribs can be pre trimmed before the competition

  • Ribs must be marinated, prepared and cooked on site once the cooking window opens

  • Marinades and rubs can be prepared in advance

  • RCOA Rules must be followed
