Christchurch, get ready to fire things up! This Valentine’s Day, BBQs Direct is turning our car park into a sizzling showdown zone with Three Steaks to the Heart - a triple-cut cookoff made for lovers of flavour and fun.

Watch competitors battle it out over three epic steak cooks, each aiming to win over both judges and hearts with heat, skill, and plenty of Valentine’s Day attitude. Expect big aromas, bold sears, and a whole lot of cheeky charm.

But that’s not all - we’re turning up the romance (and the creativity) with two special themed ancillary challenges:

Cupid’s Cocktail – A flirty drink creation contest where competitors shake, stir, and smoke their way to the most irresistible Valentine’s-inspired beverage.

Love at First Bite – A creativity-driven Chocolate dish challenge where cooks serve up a romantic small plate with chocolate as the hero ingredient, designed to sweep the judges off their feet from the very first mouthful.

Pair the action with great company, good vibes, and the passionate, hands-on experience you’ll only find at BBQs Direct. Whether you're competing or just soaking in the atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day - with heat, heart, and a whole lot of flavour.
