"My wife and I recently purchased a Buschbeck Elba outdoor fireplace from you and installed this at our home in Central Otago. I just wanted to say how pleased we are with the end result. The fire is the perfect addition to our outdoor area. Being modular it was easy to put together and install (definitely a two person job!). It looks great and I painted it in to same the colour as an adjacent wall. The fire burns well and radiates heat for quite some distance.

Last weekend we hosted some friends from Australia and we had a lovely evening in front of the Buschbeck with the odd beer and wine...a long stick and a bag of marshmallows. Big 2.2 kilo bird, 1 3/4 hours on medium. Yummy! That BBQ is a winner. The other good point is because I had a drip tray lined with foil under the bird I didn't have to clean the BBQ at all.

I bought a Ziegler BBQ from Alan at BBQ direct two days ago. Already i am like woow this is the best bbq i have ever had. I have a Weber at the moment which i though was great until i saw how much better the Ziegler is. So much more control over the heat is probably the biggest single thing, but then there is being able to control where the heat is as in just one end or both ends and none in the middle so your meat is not burning underneath. These bbq's are definitely the next level. Alan was great to deal with, really relaxed and great knowledge about whats available,and how it all works, thanks so much for your help in choosing this bbq, it is the best.

Great shop with a variety of BBQ's, smokers and accessories to make a selection from. Staff member present was polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the products in store - nice guy! The smoker we were looking for was advertised on the BBQs Direct website but unfortunately wasn't available in store. However, was expecting this to arrive early November sometime. Suggested website improvement would be to show as 'Out of Stock' rather than have an 'Add To Cart' button which when clicked has a pop up message displayed 'There is not enough product in stock'. Other than that minor detail, overall the physical shop provided a relaxed and casual environment to browse/shop in. The customer service was good and this place is definitely worth a visit to shop for a new BBQ, smoker and/or accessories.

When you turn up and the rich smokey aroma of a butterfly leg of lamb smoking outside greets you, you know you've come to the right place. I got my webber from here and it was the best local price I could find. This time I just popped in for some coals and wood for smoking. Dude in there was friendly and helpful. Took me through the different types of wood and their uses. Once I'd chosen he even helped me carry them out to the car. Awesome.
